Margaret is enjoying a quiet retirement in the town where she and her late husband spent their summers. She keeps busy with yoga and movie nights, volunteers at the library, and her dependable neighbour is always willing to lend a hand. It’s a good life — calm and predictable, just the way she likes it. That is, until her daughter arrives in a mid-life crisis with her moody teenager in tow, turning Margaret’s peaceful world completely upside down. Tensions rise, old wounds resurface, and unexpected connections begin to form under one small roof that can barely contain the chaos. It’s a laugh-filled look at the inevitable imperfections of family and the preciousness of second chances.
